The aims of the project following my principles of universal design

When designing my app, I wanted to ensure that the typeface, language and design were accessible to neurodiverse students. I wanted the app to be easy to use and keep the design stylish, but minimal to minimise distractions. I also felt it was important to include accessibility options to ensure a comfortable experience.

User Testing Results
I performed a usability test of My College Companion with 5 IADT students. The general consensus was positive. When answering the post questionnaire, all 5 users said they think the app would be helpful for their studies. All users were able to determine the app's purpose from initial impressions.

4 users commented that they liked the app’s simplicity and 2 users highlighted the student services as their favourite feature, which was one of the most important aspects of the app. However, here are the top 3 things I would change about the app judging from the results.
